Intuit mandated mobile-first, responsive design across the organization, but implementation struggled. Most engineers did not know how to implement the designs given to them, and no reusable code existed.
Delivered three integrated components — a reusable SCSS-based grid system extracted from successful Apps.com implementation treated as internal open-source, sixteen pixel-perfect Sketch artboards covering eight responsive breakpoints, and a "mobile-first responsive roadshow" presented to each product business unit explaining both technical implementation and strategic importance.
Shifted organizational adoption from mandatory compliance to voluntary enthusiasm. By bringing context to light, helped people use and implement the grid not because they had to, but because they wanted to.
